Porter/Matron

Facilities cleaning and maintenance
Experience Needed:

Position summary: The Matron/ Porter is responsible for the routine cleaning of non-production related areas as well as cleaning and sanitation support to the facility and production areas. The Areas will include but not limited to all Offices, QC labs, Production Corridor, Hallways, Conference Rooms and Rest Rooms. Duties include the performance and documentation of the following:

1) Collect and Discard trash
2) Mop floors
3) Sweep floors
4) Vacuum carpets
5) Supply transition areas
6) Clean supply bins
7) Clean Tablet Testing System area
8) Clean production corridor walls
9) Clean toilets and urinals
10) Clean sinks
11) Clean refrigerator
12) Clean ceiling vents
13) Any other assigned duties
This position would report to the Production/Sanitation Manager. An individual employed in this position must be able to read and understand written and verbal instructions in English and have basic math skills.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
• Health and personal protective equipment demands: Must be able to perform job requirements while wearing protective safety equipment (i.e. respiratory mask, eye protection, hearing protection as required and special clothing).
• Visual demands: Clear sight (with or without prescription glasses).
• Temperamental and Mental Requirements: Reliable, cordial, flexible, and able to interact with peers and other departments.
